1. Why these rules exist
VenueHive is intended to be a reliable, professional and safe environment for creator, venue and hospitality collaborations.
These Community Guidelines supplement the Terms of Use. They describe the standards of conduct expected on VenueHive and the boundaries that apply across the platform.
2. Core principles
The following principles apply on VenueHive in particular:
- authenticity instead of deception
- clarity instead of misrepresentation
- respect instead of pressure or harassment
- rights and approvals instead of informal misuse
- professional collaboration instead of DM chaos
3. Identity and authenticity
The following are not allowed in particular:
- fake profiles,
- impersonation,
- misleading role or reach claims,
- fabricated references,
- presenting third-party content or portfolios as your own.
4. Honest profiles, references and deliverables
Profiles, references, portfolio materials and listed deliverables must be materially accurate.
In particular, it is not permitted to:
- promise deliverables that cannot realistically be provided,
- misrepresent references or partnerships,
- knowingly inflate performance, reach or professional footprint,
- misstate rights ownership or usability.
5. Respectful communication
VenueHive does not permit communication that intimidates, threatens, harasses, discriminates against or degrades other users.
This includes in particular:
- threats,
- hate speech,
- sexual harassment,
- discriminatory language,
- aggressive manipulation or pressure,
- repeated unwanted contact.
6. Rights, content and approvals
Only content for which the necessary rights or permissions exist may be used, uploaded or released on VenueHive.
In particular, it is not permitted to:
- use copyrighted content without authorisation,
- use brand assets, logos, locations or event materials without sufficient permission,
- film, upload or otherwise disclose third parties without an adequate legal basis.
7. Paid, barter-based or invited collaborations: transparency and disclosure
Where collaborations are paid, compensated, invited, hosted, discounted or barter-based, users must comply with any applicable disclosure and labelling rules.
VenueHive treats disclosure as part of proper collaboration practice, not as a late legal afterthought.
In particular, it is not permitted to:
- intentionally publish advertising or compensated content without required disclosure,
- conceal consideration,
- pressure partners or creators into intransparent or unlawful presentation.
8. Protected data and privacy
Private messages, calendar data, ICS contents, tokens and other protected data areas must be respected.
In particular, it is not permitted to:
- share protected data areas without authorisation,
- publish screenshots or content from private areas without permission,
- intercept, misuse or disclose credentials or tokens,
- pressure others into inappropriate disclosure of private information.
9. Platform abuse, automation and security
The following are not allowed in particular:
- scraping,
- unauthorised bots or bulk access,
- circumvention of access restrictions,
- automated disruption or manipulation of VenueHive,
- exploitation of security vulnerabilities,
- misuse of technical functions against other users or the product.
10. Professional standards in collaboration workflows
VenueHive is designed for professional, repeatable collaboration. This includes:
- clear briefs,
- fair communication,
- transparent consideration,
- realistic timing,
- traceable approvals,
- respectful handling of revision requests and boundaries.
11. Reports and platform action
Where these rules are breached, VenueHive may, depending on severity, in particular:
- review content,
- hide or remove content,
- restrict visibility,
- issue warnings,
- restrict functions,
- suspend or terminate accounts.
Where appropriate, VenueHive will communicate material measures and provide a path for follow-up or review.

If you believe that content, conduct or decisions violate these Guidelines, the Terms of Use, third-party rights or applicable law, please use the page Reports, Complaints & Rights Notices or the contact channel provided there.
13. Relationship to the Terms of Use
These Community Guidelines supplement the Terms of Use. If there is any inconsistency, the stricter or more specific rule applies to the relevant situation.
